- Escargot, a Magcargo. Caught as a Slugma, he's easy-going and is Prawn's best friend (type differences be damned). When she's cooking, he's her heat source.
- Prawn, a Gyarados. Caught as a Gyarados, she's one of the strongest on her team. When she's cooking, this big girl is Sam's taster.
- Sneak, a Sableye. What a lot of people would consider her "starter" Pokémon, as he's the one she began travelling with first.
- Noodle, an Ekans. Received at the Island. When she's cooking, he's... a helper? Maybe? His place is to be decided!
